1. "Global warming is an increase in the earth's atmospheric and oceanic temperatures widely predicted to occur due to an increase in the greenhouse effect resulting especially from pollution." http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=active&defl=en&q=define:global+warming&ei=tcPpSrDTM4-Vtgeshek6&sa=X&oi=glossary_definition&ct=title&ved=0CBYQkAE
2. I don't have strong views about global warming. I am pretty much neutral when it comes to this. Both sides of the argument make valid points.
3. Global warming is worldwide temperature increase, and the past two decades have been the hottest in 400 years. People also make the point that the arctic ice is melting, and there is more carbon dioxide in the air.
4. Scientist Timothy Ball has a Ph D. in climatology and states facts as to why global warming does not exist. First of all he says the global warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide. Secondly, he says that this has happened before, but Eath's climate then began to cool again. It is only a cycle that will happen continuously.

Condensation
1. Frozen water bottle with water on the outside.
-Condensation Nuclei = the water bottle.
2.Covered pot on the stove, when you take off the cover, the water droplets.
- Condensation Nuclei = the pot cover.
3.Glasses fogging up because it is cold outside.
- Condensation Nuclei = the glasses lenses.
4. Steam room
- Condensation Nuclei = The glass door in the steam room.
5. Dishes in the washing machine waiting to be dried.
- Condensation Nuclei = The dishes.

Blog Post #3
1. The 4 types of air-masses are : Maritime Tropical (mT) - Wet and Warm
Maritime Polar (mP) - Wet and Cold
Continental Tropical (cT) - Dry and War
Continental Polar (cP) - Dry and Cold
2. Maritime Tropical would more likely bring a hurricane.
3. Continental Tropical because it is dry and warm.
4. The arctic air mass brings lake-effect snowstorms.
5. The two other air masses are arctic and highland. A highland air mass is in regions with large elevation changes over short distances. An arctic air mass has the same characteristics of polar, except it is much colder.

Greenhouse effect

2. IR radiation is when the Earth's surface absorbs the solar energy and releases it back into the atmospher as IR, or heat.
2. The three main greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane, and water.
3. I think that the greenhouse effect is a bad thing, because it contributes to what we know as global warming.

RECYCLING !
1. We should recycle glass because every ton of glass recycled saves 9 gallons of fuel oil needed to make glass. It also helps to save the environment.
2. I think recycling and reusing things are equally important. When you recycle is ends up getting reused in one way or another, and instead of throwing things out that can be reused again, you can reuse them which can reduce the amount of trash in landfills.
3. Fayetteville residents can recycle by using a blue trash can with their recyclables. They can set it at their curb on their weekly pick-up day and 7 am.
4. The closest recycling center to my home is on N Bragg Blvd.
5. Recycled plastic can be made into bottles, shower stalls, recycling bins, souring pads, paint brushes, industrial strapping, drainpipes, plastic lumber, and flowerpots.
6. Recycled metal can be made into cans, car parts, siding, appliances, and building materials.
7. To promote recycling I can inform people I know the benefits of recycling and try to encourage them to do so. I could also post posters around my school to aware people the dangers of not recycling.

My Grade
I believe that I deserve an A on my blogs this quarter. Just like last quarter all of my blog posts meet their criteria. There are also no spelling mistakes in any of them. The ones that needed pictures I provided one. I also provided pictures for the blog posts that did not require one. The difference from my blog post than (mean) Miranda's blog post is that instead of saying I should do better than her, I believe that we will BOTH get good grades. See I am a very nice person.(worthy of extra credit!) Just kidding! But yes, I do think I deserve an A. (:
