My favorite map projection is the Robinson. This is because to me, it is the easiest to read. Also it doesn't just show small areas,(which could be helpful in some cases) but it allows me to see the whole world. The Robinson is the most commonly used map projection, which probably means that it could be used on more than one occasion.
