1. My favorite topic we learned about this year in earth science was astronomy.




2. In this topic I learned about space and the planets. I learned about the terrestrial planets and Jovian planets. The terrestrial planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The Jovian planets are Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto. I also learned about black holes. (which was my topic to research and explain to the class) This was interesting to me because I learned a lot about black holes i did not know before. For example, I learned that the reason black holes have so much gravity is because it is smaller, not because it was more massive. I also learned that the only way for a star to become a black hole is if it is 3 times larger than our sun. (So our sun may never become a black hole.) Astronomy was a very interesting topic to learn about. (:

3. I found it interesting because I learned about stuff I had never even thought about before. I got to understand how the universe works. It was also interesting because Mr. Dunn made it fun! Unlike other teachers in the past (:
